Why This Program Exists

Circular Economy Is No Longer Optional.
But Implementation Is Still Rare.

Circular economy is now embedded in regulation, ESG reporting requirements, investor scrutiny, and supply chain expectations. Yet inside many organisations:

Circular strategies remain disconnected from business decisions

Sustainability teams struggle to secure cross-functional buy-in

Reporting exists without implementation depth

Pilot projects fail to scale beyond initial rollout

Metrics are unclear or poorly aligned to business performance

The gap is not awareness. Most sustainability professionals understand circular economy principles well. The gap is implementation capability — the ability to translate circular concepts into strategies that hold up inside real organisations, real procurement processes, and real leadership conversations.

This program is built to close that gap.

Who This Is For

Built for Working Professionals
with 3+ Years of Experience.

This cohort is designed for professionals who are already responsible for sustainability and ESG outcomes inside their organisations — and want to move from understanding circular economy to confidently implementing it.

🌿

Sustainability Managers

Leading sustainability strategy or operations inside mid-to-large organisations.

📊

ESG Professionals & Reporting Leads

Responsible for ESG disclosure, BRSR reporting, or investor sustainability queries.

🤝

CSR & Responsible Sourcing Managers

Managing CSR portfolios or supply chain sustainability mandates.

⚙️

Supply Chain & Operations Leaders

Navigating EPR compliance, circular design, or waste reduction targets.

💼

ESG & Sustainability Consultants

Building advisory capability to serve clients on circular economy implementation.

🏭

Manufacturing & FMCG Professionals

Working in sectors where circular economy regulation and EPR obligations are accelerating.

Not suited for: Students or early-career professionals without organisational sustainability experience. This program assumes you are already navigating real sustainability decisions and want to strengthen your implementation capability.

What You Will Walk Away With

From Awareness to Authority.

By the end of 6 weeks, you will not just understand circular economy — you will be able to implement it.

01

Design Circular Strategies

Build structured circular strategies aligned to corporate priorities — not just sustainability frameworks.

02

Build Implementation Roadmaps

Translate circular concepts into practical, phased roadmaps that work inside real organisational constraints.

03

Integrate with ESG & Regulation

Align circular initiatives with ESG reporting, EPR obligations, and evolving regulatory requirements.

04

Secure Cross-Functional Buy-in

Navigate procurement, operations, and finance stakeholders — and build the internal case for circular investment.

05

Develop Meaningful KPIs

Set circular performance metrics that are credible, measurable, and aligned to business performance — not just sustainability reporting.

06

Present with Confidence

Walk into leadership conversations with a business-aligned circular strategy you can defend — not just a sustainability presentation.

Program Structure

6 Weeks. 8 Live Sessions. Real-World Application.

6 core sessions every Saturday (90-120 minutes each) plus 2 special Sunday sessions — one Featured Expert session with Shalini Goyal Bhalla and one Capstone day. Between sessions, you work on your CE Roadmap — a real deliverable for your own organisation.

Session 1 · Sat 31 Oct

Foundations — CE Framework & India's Transition Reality

Beyond recycling — the real CE framework. Why linear models are becoming a business liability. India's CE landscape: EPR, Mission LiFE, CBAM implications. Workshop: map your organisation's linear dependencies.

Session 2 · Sat 7 Nov

Legislation, Frameworks & Financing — EPR, BRSR, Mission LiFE, CBAM, Green Finance

India's regulatory reality for circular economy. What EPR, BRSR, and CBAM mean for your organisation. How to access green financing and circular economy funding. Practical implications for CSR and sustainability teams.

Session 3 · Sat 14 Nov · Includes Guest Practitioner

Circular Business Models — How Companies Are Actually Doing It

Product-as-a-service, take-back schemes, industrial symbiosis — real India and global examples. Where CSR budgets can fund circular pilots. Guest practitioner from ICCE's network shares real-world implementation experience.

Session 4 · Sun 15 Nov · Featured Expert Session

Featured Expert — Shalini Goyal Bhalla, ICCE

India's circular economy movement — where we are and where we are headed. Policy landscape: EPR, NITI Aayog's CE roadmap, and what it means for industry. Lessons from ICCE's work across sectors and geographies. Live Q&A with the cohort.

Session 5 · Sat 21 Nov · Includes Guest Practitioner

Water, Materials & Sector Deep-Dive

Water as a circular resource — closed-loop systems in industry. Material flow analysis: what goes in, what leaks, what can be recovered. Sector spotlight: plastics, electronics, built environment or fashion. Guest practitioner from ICCE's network.

Session 6 · Sat 28 Nov

Measuring & Reporting Circularity — ESG, BRSR, GRI

Circularity metrics that work at the company level. Linking CE outcomes to ESG reporting and BRSR disclosures. Workshop: build a circularity scorecard for your organisation. Between sessions 6 and 7 — async assignment to draft your CE Roadmap.

Session 7 · Sat 5 Dec

Capstone Workshop — Draft Your CE Roadmap

Participants present their draft CE Roadmaps. Structured peer feedback and refinement. Format: problem statement, current state, one circular intervention, 90-day action plan. Final version to be presented on Capstone day.

Session 8 · Sun 6 Dec · Capstone Day

Capstone Presentations + Q&A with Shalini Goyal Bhalla

Final CE Roadmap presentations to the cohort. Peer review and structured feedback. Shalini Goyal Bhalla joins for a live Q&A and closing remarks. Certificate acknowledgement and cohort close.

🎯

Capstone Strategy Project

Every participant develops a structured Circular Economy Strategy for their own organisation or a selected industry. You graduate with a portfolio-ready strategy document and implementation roadmap — something you can actually use.

Sustainability strategy
"This program distils 17 years of corporate circular economy experience into 6 weeks of structured, implementation-ready learning."
— Sumit Jugran, Founder, Value Sustainable

What Makes This Different

Not an Academic Overview.
Built from Real Execution.

🏭

17 Years of Corporate Experience

Built from leading circular economy and sustainability strategy inside Coca-Cola and Tetra Pak — across FMCG, packaging, and manufacturing environments.

🎯

Implementation-First, Not Theory-First

Every session is structured around what actually works inside real organisations — not academic frameworks designed for classrooms.

👥

Small Cohort, Real Conversations

Limited to 20 professionals. You will have direct access to the instructor and genuine peer exchange — not a webinar with 500 attendees.

📄

A Real Deliverable at the End

You leave with a portfolio-ready Circular Economy Strategy — not a certificate and a folder of slides you'll never open again.

Ex-Coca-Cola Ex-Tetra Pak 17+ Years Circular Economy ESG Strategy

17+ years leading sustainability and circular economy strategy inside Coca-Cola and Tetra Pak — across supply chains, packaging, regulatory environments, and multi-stakeholder ecosystems. What's taught in this program comes from having done it, not from having studied it.

  • Founded India's first beverage carton recycling consortium (AARC) — 30+ corporates, 30+ cities, 40% recovery improvement
  • Managed ₹700M+ CSR & sustainability portfolios across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal
  • Governed partnerships with UNDP, World Bank WRG, GIZ & World Vision across four markets
  • ICC Social Impact Award 2019 — recognised for circular economy ecosystem building at scale
  • Fellowship in Impact Investing & Sustainable Finance — NEIII, 2025

This program distils that experience into structured, practical learning for professionals who are serious about implementation — not just awareness.
