Why This Program Exists
Circular economy is now embedded in regulation, ESG reporting requirements, investor scrutiny, and supply chain expectations. Yet inside many organisations:
Circular strategies remain disconnected from business decisions
Sustainability teams struggle to secure cross-functional buy-in
Reporting exists without implementation depth
Pilot projects fail to scale beyond initial rollout
Metrics are unclear or poorly aligned to business performance
The gap is not awareness. Most sustainability professionals understand circular economy principles well. The gap is implementation capability — the ability to translate circular concepts into strategies that hold up inside real organisations, real procurement processes, and real leadership conversations.
This program is built to close that gap.
Who This Is For
This cohort is designed for professionals who are already responsible for sustainability and ESG outcomes inside their organisations — and want to move from understanding circular economy to confidently implementing it.
Leading sustainability strategy or operations inside mid-to-large organisations.
Responsible for ESG disclosure, BRSR reporting, or investor sustainability queries.
Managing CSR portfolios or supply chain sustainability mandates.
Navigating EPR compliance, circular design, or waste reduction targets.
Building advisory capability to serve clients on circular economy implementation.
Working in sectors where circular economy regulation and EPR obligations are accelerating.
What You Will Walk Away With
By the end of 6 weeks, you will not just understand circular economy — you will be able to implement it.
Build structured circular strategies aligned to corporate priorities — not just sustainability frameworks.
Translate circular concepts into practical, phased roadmaps that work inside real organisational constraints.
Align circular initiatives with ESG reporting, EPR obligations, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Navigate procurement, operations, and finance stakeholders — and build the internal case for circular investment.
Set circular performance metrics that are credible, measurable, and aligned to business performance — not just sustainability reporting.
Walk into leadership conversations with a business-aligned circular strategy you can defend — not just a sustainability presentation.
Program Structure
6 core sessions every Saturday (90-120 minutes each) plus 2 special Sunday sessions — one Featured Expert session with Shalini Goyal Bhalla and one Capstone day. Between sessions, you work on your CE Roadmap — a real deliverable for your own organisation.
Session 1 · Sat 31 Oct
Beyond recycling — the real CE framework. Why linear models are becoming a business liability. India's CE landscape: EPR, Mission LiFE, CBAM implications. Workshop: map your organisation's linear dependencies.
Session 2 · Sat 7 Nov
India's regulatory reality for circular economy. What EPR, BRSR, and CBAM mean for your organisation. How to access green financing and circular economy funding. Practical implications for CSR and sustainability teams.
Session 3 · Sat 14 Nov · Includes Guest Practitioner
Product-as-a-service, take-back schemes, industrial symbiosis — real India and global examples. Where CSR budgets can fund circular pilots. Guest practitioner from ICCE's network shares real-world implementation experience.
Session 4 · Sun 15 Nov · Featured Expert Session
India's circular economy movement — where we are and where we are headed. Policy landscape: EPR, NITI Aayog's CE roadmap, and what it means for industry. Lessons from ICCE's work across sectors and geographies. Live Q&A with the cohort.
Session 5 · Sat 21 Nov · Includes Guest Practitioner
Water as a circular resource — closed-loop systems in industry. Material flow analysis: what goes in, what leaks, what can be recovered. Sector spotlight: plastics, electronics, built environment or fashion. Guest practitioner from ICCE's network.
Session 6 · Sat 28 Nov
Circularity metrics that work at the company level. Linking CE outcomes to ESG reporting and BRSR disclosures. Workshop: build a circularity scorecard for your organisation. Between sessions 6 and 7 — async assignment to draft your CE Roadmap.
Session 7 · Sat 5 Dec
Participants present their draft CE Roadmaps. Structured peer feedback and refinement. Format: problem statement, current state, one circular intervention, 90-day action plan. Final version to be presented on Capstone day.
Session 8 · Sun 6 Dec · Capstone Day
Final CE Roadmap presentations to the cohort. Peer review and structured feedback. Shalini Goyal Bhalla joins for a live Q&A and closing remarks. Certificate acknowledgement and cohort close.
Every participant develops a structured Circular Economy Strategy for their own organisation or a selected industry. You graduate with a portfolio-ready strategy document and implementation roadmap — something you can actually use.
What Makes This Different
Built from leading circular economy and sustainability strategy inside Coca-Cola and Tetra Pak — across FMCG, packaging, and manufacturing environments.
Every session is structured around what actually works inside real organisations — not academic frameworks designed for classrooms.
Limited to 20 professionals. You will have direct access to the instructor and genuine peer exchange — not a webinar with 500 attendees.
You leave with a portfolio-ready Circular Economy Strategy — not a certificate and a folder of slides you'll never open again.
Your Instructor
Sustainability & ESG Strategist · Founder, Value Sustainable
17+ years leading sustainability and circular economy strategy inside Coca-Cola and Tetra Pak — across supply chains, packaging, regulatory environments, and multi-stakeholder ecosystems. What's taught in this program comes from having done it, not from having studied it.
This program distils that experience into structured, practical learning for professionals who are serious about implementation — not just awareness.
